They never have issues with each other. In 2022, Lai-kuen abruptly returns to Hong Kong to open a branch. She declares she wants to obtain the rights to the Yuet Tak House trademark through legal channels. The duo’s little son Au Ka-kin signs up for Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Competition. He runs into his elder brother Au Ka-him, who is appointed as an instructor, and also fellow competitor Cheung Loi. However, they familiarize with each other through conflict and strife, and they team up to create metaverse Yuet Tak House. Yuet Tak House physical store and its metaverse equivalent are both sued for copyright infringement, and Yiu-cho, Lai-kuen, Ka-kin and Ka-him face different hurdles. After all, they are related family members, so are they able to restore the initial bliss and tenderness to their relationship?

Police Story is an anthology television crime drama. The show was the brainchild of author and former policeman Joseph Wambaugh and represented a major step forward in the realistic depiction of police work and violence on network TV. Although it was an anthology, there were certain things that all episodes had in common; for instance, the main character in each episode was a police officer. The setting was always Los Angeles and the characters always worked for some branch of the LAPD. Notwithstanding the anthology format, there were recurring characters. Scott Brady appeared in more than a dozen episodes as "Vinnie," a former cop who, upon retirement, had opened a bar catering to police officers, and who acted as a sort of Greek chorus during the run of the series, commenting on the characters and plots.

After the episode finale, a spin-off sequel, Virtues of Harmony II was released in 2003, as well as a spin-off musical, which starred the same cast.
